WHAT IS AN IAG PARTNERSHIP?

The Information, Advice and Guidance initiative is a new national programme aimed at adults (19+) accessing quality information, advice and guidance. The initiative is sponsored by the DfES who have provided development funding this year. Increased funding in the next two years will ensure that organisations who are committed to the delivery of adult information, advice and guidance, deliver these services to improved and quality standards.

With the move toward reducing the number of IAGP's (Information, Advice, Guidance Partnerships) to one per LSC area (Learning & Skills Council) the 3 current IAGPs in East London are working towards a combined strategy. This website is an example of combined working. Below are details of the three partnerships that collectively form Pan-East London IAG Provision. IAGP's work with all clients aged 20 and above, both unemployed and employed. IAGPs work in conjunction with other agencies such as Jobcentre Plus (clients who are 18+), Learndirect and Connexions (13-19)
